Young Justice: The Secret #1 is a one-shot with a cover date of June, 1998.
Synopsis for "The Secret"
Robin, Superboy and Impulse hear that the D.E.O. ordered the evacuation of a small town in upstate New York, so they decide to go check things out for themselves. Dr. Charles recruits the young heroes, and asks them to help find and capture a dangerous gaseous creature that escaped from their Wabe facility.
The boys find and capture the creature, only to discover it's actually a girl, who was being held against her will and subjected to horrible tests by the D.E.O. Robin, Superboy and Impulse decide to free the girl and call her their Secret.
In the Justice League Watchtower, Max Mercury, Flash and Superman talk with Batman via video conference about the incident involving the youngsters. Batman is not fond of the D.E.O. and trusts the kids' judgment, even if they might have kept a little "Secret" ...
