Synopsis for "Seven Crises"
An inhabitant of the Gemworld is talking with its ruler, Dark Opal, about the planet Earth. The speaker comes from there and he discovered there's an hidden way of getting there. This Earth has suffered seven crises and survived them all, but those crises have a mean to change things, and without knowing it they influence and change the Gemworld as well. It's time to confront Earth about the matter, talking with Earth's very own champion: Superman.
In Metropolis, Jinny Hex is moving into town from Texas. As she is questioned by an officer about why she has a weapon in her van, a mysterious force attacks Metropolis: the soldiers of the Gemworld are in the city, looking to attract Superman's attention. But what they find is another team of worthy opponents: after meeting Wonder Girl, Tim Drake reacts to the attack finding himself fighting alongside Jinny. Soon, Cassie Sandsmark intervenes as well, even if for some matter she restrained herself initially.
Impulse and Teen Lantern quickly join the fight as well and the enemy is defeated: Bart screams at the top of his lungs that Young Justice is back. But while retreating, the soldiers of Gemworld transport back to their home dimension the teenage superheroes as well. While Tim Drake finds himself in the House of Amethyst, Bart Allen finds himself in the company of another friend, Conner Kent, also known as Superboy! Why is Superboy inside Gemworld and how he managed to grow a beard?

- Amethyst and the Gemworld continuity was severely altered by the latest reboots, becoming a mash-up between its Pre-Flashpoint iteration and The New 52.
- Although they are never named in this story, the Seven Earth Crises are:
- Impulse implies he has just returned from the Marvel Universe, briefly mentioning to have recently been in Canada to join Alpha Flight.
Trivia
- The first clash in the Post-Flashpoint continuity between Amethyst and Dark Opal was shown during the latter's first appearance in Bizarro #4 which was, however, still set in The New 52 timeline.
- Despite being unnamed in this issue, the destroyed restaurant is Kaplan's which originally appeared (and was destroyed) in Action Comics #1000.
- Impulse's first attempt at a battlecry, "Young Justice Assemble!" is a reference to the Avengers's battlecry, "Avengers Assemble!". This follows on the revelation about his recent journey to the Marvel Universe.
