History
Zan interrogated Andrew Bennett with Green Lantern, however, after Zan said he was going to get the other League members, Hal Jordan murdered Zan by grinding him to death with an energy construct of a blender, revealing his identity as a vampire.

- Psychic Link: Zan and his twin sister Jayna are able to feel each others' presence, even when they are apart.[1]

- Zan was created by Jeffrey Scott, E. Nelson Bridwell, and Norman Maurer, first appearing in Super Friends #7. However, the DC vs. Vampires version of Zan first appeared in DC vs. Vampires #1 by James Tynion IV, Matthew Rosenberg, and Otto Schmidt.
Trivia
- Hal Jordan picking a snake-like construct to murder Zan may be a reference to how Zan's sister, Jayna, can transform into animals.
