History
Against Merlin
In a not-so-distant future, a witch hunt rages on as magic users are rounded up and executed, and their magic harvested by the power-mad Crow King, Merlin. After the dissolution of the Justice League Dark, Zatanna and Detective Chimp seek out their former teammates in hopes of fighting back before Merlin's plans for magical domination destroys the fabric of reality.
While investigating with Bobo and Etrigan, Zatanna tracked down Rory Regan, who then revealed them he thought Constantine and other magical beings were putting on a plan to oppose Merlin. They managed to reach the place, Cardboard City, and discovered Rory was right: the Hellblazer and many others were reunited there by Madame Xanadu, to protect a mysterious old man, who then was revealed to be a cloaked Doctor Fate.
