History

He's the mentor to Klarienne the Witch-Girl, a powerful teenage sorceress.

Zatara and his Justice Guild teammates had their minds controlled by Starrla the Star Conqueress, but when they faced their young sidekicks and were defeated by them, they were freed from the mental power of the evil space starfish. Then, with a spell, Zatara managed to restore the New Year celebration with just 3 seconds left to burn fireworks.
