Zealot (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1995.
Synopsis for the 1st Story
On Jacob Marlowe's private island in the Caribbean, Zealot is training on the beach when Voodoo interrupts her to talk. They discuss Coda teachings, and Zealot begins telling Voodoo about her past…
At a temple to Artemis in ancient Greece, Zealot battles the Coda Sisterhood. They view her as a traitor for her actions during the Trojan War and seek to kill her. She defeats them all except one who wounds her. She is saved at the last second by Promethos, her Kherubim mentor and ex-lover, and passes out. In a dream, she recalls releasing him from imprisonment aboard the Kherubim ship just before it crashed to Earth. Zealot awakens in his temple atop Mount Olympus. Called Prometheus by humans, he wants her to rule with him by his side. As a matter of honor, she refuses. Promethos continues to press her until finally she stabs him in the hand. To repay him for saving her life, she vows to never harm him and leaves. Insulted and outraged, he declares them enemies for life.
