Zephyros is the Olympian God of the West Wind.
History
He was sent by Hera as companion of the god of love, Eros, in search of Yara Flor in Brazil to take her to Mount Olympus.[1]
A while later, when Yara refused to become Hera's immortal champion after her strenuous training on Olympus and tried to flee on the winged horse Jerry, Zephyros attacked them and apparently killed Jerry, infuriating Yara.[2]
Zephyros has a female counterpart, also representative of the west wind, called Zephyrus.
