Zinaya was a South American country made up of ten thousand miles of unexplored jungles.
History
Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen were on an assignment for the Daily Planet and they took an airplane into the unexplored jungles of Zinaya.
They were sent to find out what happened to a scientist and his daughter who were kidnapped by the locals because they accidentally lost a diamond that was part of their idol. A local legend in Zinaya at this time was called the "Jungle Devil," which the locals believed was a devil from hell in the form of a hairy man.
In reality, the Jungle Devil was nothing more than a gorilla that had escaped from a circus and roamed around in the wild. Superman defeated the Jungle Devil and used his hand to crush coal, turning it into a diamond and then replaced it for the one lost from their idol. The scientist and his daughter were then returned to the United States safely.
